Moskalenko family session at Port Imperial, Weehawken, NJ

Two daughters and three granddaughters, just look how blessed is this family. As much as I love candid full-of-life moments I love classic family portraits too. These images are truly timeless and golden, needless to say, when I look at it I want to have session like this with my own family - my dear brother and sister-in-law, our kids and of course parents. Looking back at the day I was shooting this family everything looked so perfect - perfect family, perfect outfits, perfect weather and lighting. But we all know that we are born to be real, not perfect. Two minutes later after the first perfect shot unexpected rain started, 10 minutes later we had intense rain shower and we all choosed to enjoy it! So thankful Irina grabbed her daughter and enjoyed such weather. I captured genuine emotions, which were much more than just perfect.
